Understanding Dental Costs
Do you accept dental insurance?
Dental care can get expensive, so we want to help patients maximize their insurance benefits and obtain financing, if needed. We accept and can bill any insurance as long as you are not required to see a designated dentist. Co-payments and deductibles are due at your appointment. Our office will file all claims as a courtesy. Please call our dental office in Portland with any questions.
Why didn't my insurance pay for certain treatment?
Each dental plan covers services according to their own levels. We work with our patients to make sure they receive the maximum benefit from their dental insurance. If you have specific concerns about your plan, we recommend that you contact your insurance carrier.
Why aren't you a preferred provider?
We feel that our patients deserve the best... The best equipment, the best materials, and the best lab work. A preferred provider agrees to discount their fees by 20-30% and if we did this, we would not be able to provide our patients with the best treatment.
What payment methods do you accept, and what are your financing options?
For your convenience, we accept cash, check, and most major credit cards. Third-party financing is available through CareCredit for qualified applicants.
